Discover 94 types of seabirds, hundreds of different kinds of fish, 4 turtle species, and 450 types of large algae that flourish in the warm waters off the Central Coast.
Right on Cannery Row, which is the center of Monterey's tourist area, is where you can find the Monterey Aquarium. It has been open since 1984 and has showcased the magnificent marine creatures in large glass tanks.
